Quarantine Queen

Hiya peeps!  I know that this time has been difficult and it is hard to find things to do when in quarantine, but, believe it or not, many fun things can be done while not being able to go anywhere! 1. You can...........become that Michelin starred chef that you've always wanted!  Maybe not Michelin starred, but you can definitely start cooking for yourself, your family, or your friends. Cooking and baking can help you pass the time in a productive, delicious way and you can make virtually anything that you have the supplies and time for! 2. You can...........start that exercise routine that you keep putting off! I know that exercising maybe isn't exactly what you want to do, but it is a good way to stay fit while you're stuck in your house.  Exercising is a low-cost/no-cost thing to do that will help you feel good and pass time, so run around the block or start walking a couple miles a day, I promise, you'll be proud of yourself. 3. You can...........clean out your ho

Read for the Win!

This summer I went to the library (not the local library but the L.A library ), and they were doing a read for the win program. I decided to do it. This is the front of the game board they give you. You are supposed to write your first name, last name, age, and your library.   This is the actual game board. When you get to the star, you go to the library and they give you a lanyard. This is the prize ticket that is attached to the game board. When you finish the game board you fill it  out it and hand it in for a chance to win the grand prize, a ticket to Harry Potter World!   Read for the Win Website I hope this post inspires you to keep reading. Are you thinking about doing this? Which books have you read this summer?

Chumash Pow wow

This past April I attended the Chumash pow wow. It was so fun! My favorite activity at the Pow Wow was the man telling Chumash stories. One of the stories was about a fox and some butterflies. At the Pow wow there was singing and putting money at people's feet. My favorite things about the dancing and singing performances were the giant headdresses. They were so big! ========================================================================== I went to this amazing event because we were reading the book Badger Claws of Ojai. ========================================================================== What was your favorite part of Badger Claws ?   What cultural performances have you been to?

I am so excited to be blogging with you! Don't be shy. Leave a comment, even if I don't know you. But before we begin, I will tell you a little about myself.  Above is my dog and my namesake , Pascal. He is very important in my life because he is my first dog and because I have wanted a dog my whole life. I enjoy playing with my sister who is in preschool. She is fun to play with because, well, she's a sister. Our favorite game to play is Kitty Cat Game . We made up this amazing game. You have to pretend to be an animal with a friend. Someone else pretends to be an owner who only wants to adopt one animal, and the owner takes you both because you love each other too much. I love my sister with all my heart, and she loves me "to infinity and beyond and back." I do love fonts, colors, sizes, bolding, italicizing and underlining.  As you can see I love playing with all the tool
